Hello everyone,
It's been quite a while since I last updated my blog. I could chalk it up to being busy with personal matters, but the truth is, I was simply lazy. Yes, a significant event did occur last year—I got married—but from January to May of this year, I kept thinking about posting but never got around to it seriously.
I started this blog as a personal knowledge space where I could share my ideas, learnings, and interesting things I discover from books, the internet, or podcasts. I consume a lot of content on various topics like behavioral science, psychology, productivity, creative coding, and more. The core idea behind starting this site last year was to share these insights.
Last year, I aimed to cultivate some good habits, including reading, writing, and cooking. While I managed to maintain my reading habit, writing fell by the wayside. The main reason I wanted to write was to clarify my thoughts and viewpoints. When I started journaling, I noticed it made me more self-aware. While I could keep my writing private, I choose to make some of it public. For now, I only publish what I find particularly interesting, but as I grow more comfortable, I plan to share more. Making my writing public commits me to the habit, helping me continue until it becomes second nature.
I realize that much of what I write about isn't entirely new—many others have written on the same topics. What sets my posts apart is my perspective and personal viewpoints. I've listened to many writers I admire, and they all say that it takes years of writing to develop relatable and engaging content. I don't aspire to be a professional writer; I simply want to write for myself.
Many bloggers have a core theme and optimize their sites for SEO to attract unique viewers. I don't intend to put my website into a specific category. I want the freedom to write about anything I find interesting, from book highlights to podcast notes, any tutorial, observations, or short stories. If someone asks about my audience, I would say it's me. My target is to add one post every month, and if I can do that consistently for six months, I'll aim to post every 15 days.
That's all for this post.
